On June 15th. the University of Chicago -- one of our most selective, prestigious universities -- announced it would no longer require SAT scores with an application for admission. "SAT or ACT optional" a decade's long campaign for Warner and many others. Bill Hiss, perhaps the national leader from admissions experience and research, describes Chicago's move feeling "as if a major ice floe from Antarctica just fell into the ocean." He sent thanks for Warner, for his years of interest and support.
